Winterlicious

Winterlicious starts today in Toronto and it’s all over the news. I can’t go, though. It’s a fixed menu with no substitutions. Usually the vegetarian entry is loaded with cheese, so it doesn’t fit my dietary restrictions.
Ah well, I guess I’ll cook at home. I enjoy it.

I’m still here

I used to write daily, sometimes more than once a day. I don’t have time anymore, I have so many things going on. I’m busy at work, I’m busy at home, when I get home from work I usually spend about 2 hours preparing dinner, I do mostly everything from scratch. I still take pictures of the food and the recipes, but then I don’t get to post them that often.
I am not knitting much either, I’m usually too tired when I have some time for it, so I just don’t do it. I am going to stitch ‘n bitch at Lettuce Knit about once every 5 weeks or so. I usually have things to do on Wednesdays other than go to knitting, so I skip it.
I am still volunteering at St. Michael’s Hospital on Saturdays, I’m not doing all Saturdays anymore, again because of lack of time. I’m going about every other Saturday, but it definitely is something I don’t want to stop doing. I enjoy it a lot.
All is good, though. Life is good.
Regarding the cramp I had in my hand and arm, it’s all better now. It was probably just something temporary, I’m back to usual, at least for now.
Thanks to all who emailed me and expressed concern about my crampy situation.
I promise I’ll try to blog a bit more, even if it’s short, not very deep posts, like I used to do in the beginning.

Ouch, cramp.

I was cleaning my bathroom yesterday and while gripping the cleaning brush I got a horrible cramp. My index finger was “stuck”, it was bent and I couldn’t extend it, my arm was hurting all the way to the elbow. I was screaming and crying because it hurt so much.
Then it got better and I did some “massage”. Today, I have a pain that goes all through my forearm starting on the finger and ends on the upper shoulder/back.
Ouch!!
